Congratulations to our Advanced Open Debating Team for winning the Auckland Schools Octo-Finals Debating round.
Brody Austen, Trenyce Gardiner and Celeste Nyatsanza and Aidan Toop (absent in photo) recently won against a very capable team from De La Salle. The motion of the debate was,”This house would ban the public denial of climate change”, with our team on the affirmative (defending the motion).
The quarter finals will be at Mt Roskill Grammar in the coming weeks. Good luck team!
